Net Zero is here, now! Green Building and Sustainable design can now achieve energy independence. Simply designing “efficient” buildings is no longer sufficient. We need to go full circle. We invite your comments, suggestions, and advice as we work to build this blog site into a useful resource for Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Developers, and all forward-thinking, Net Zero aware people. Please feel free to contact us at:
We look forward to hearing from you. It is our goal that, together, we can take Sustainable Design and Green Building to the NetZeroMax!

Thank you for taking the time to send your message. I am a believer when it comes to promoting the benefits of solar as a renewable and sustainable resource for power. I also realize that I might be ahead of the learning curve when it comes to knowing how solar benefits everyone, not just solar owners. Thank you for your interest and support. Amendment 1 must not win in November.

Dear Mr. Sauser…this is the MAD SOLAR GUY from the Denny’s meeting (hahahaha)…well, Orange County Watch really and truly is some sort of whacky, but noble experiment! I’ve been with it for only 11 months (I go to all the meetings). But the ripoffs perpetrated by some of the energy and utility companies can really get to me, as you may have noticed late in the meeting! Here’s what I wrote on their FB page…and it’s because I have the highest regard for democracy that I will continue to stick my neck out and take taunting—even from my own party member[s] like that #$@%&)!%$# lady chuckling at me to my right this morning (I believe she’s on the local Democratic executive committee). More later on this issue and the threats to a solar FREE ENTERPRISE EFFORT here in Florida and beyond!
Here’s my note to the County Watch people:
“This is a great group and I am constantly discovering its dynamics. For instance, I have learned (took me months!) that multi-partisanship in community forums entails knowing whether and how to 86 oneself from a discussion that unfolds over a very, very tricky issue (today’s was a state issue). Well, being part redneck Mennonite and part southern California chill, I came to an inner understanding that I had to go get myself some democratic fresh air outside! tehehehe…. But I wanna make friendships amongst the OCW membership, so I will be back next time, too. And with fresh insights and grander tolerance”.

Sure. Enjoy.
